Trust me, I never create logos for myself. When I first made a business logo, it was all about branding my services for clients—people willing to pay for my creativity and the life experiences I’ve accumulated.

(By the way, the old logo you see below is just a screenshot from an ancient invoice. We all know how files get moved around, lost, or renamed… So, yeah—excuse my mess!)
I combined F + V, the “vibration” sounds representing my agency, and stretched the V to form a square root symbol. Ultimately, though, despite all the branding and teamwork, the business failed. Let’s call it a FAIL, but also an experience. I ended up closing shop so I could learn from other companies and small businesses—basically, to understand how a well-structured system helps a brand flourish (something I missed when I was doing it solo).
That square-root-inspired logo was from back in 2019, during the lockdown era.
Fast-forward to this year, here is the brand new version of my personal logo, 2025.

I’ve already gotten the reactions from @Threads and @Instagram.
“The logo’s cute. It suits you well. It came out really hip.”
“The numbers(‘1212’) form Korean characters! That’s totally my Illi (my nickname from @Threads to the blog) Unnie”
“Yeah!!!! Very very!!!!!!! Once I saw this I was like “Whoa, this is it!!!” I had such a hunch.”
“Haha It’s an interesting idea. I was born on the same date, so if I ever made a personal logo, I could use ‘1212’ as well. The sparks my interest.”
Plus, my sweet friend from @Instagram hyped it up with:
“Among all the logo designs I’ve seen, this one is definitely the No.1 for real. Truly genius job, gosh!”
I’m doing best as I step into my 2nd chapter and I think it’s quite a solid start to have a logo truly reflects who I am, plus, I’m the one who created this.
Especially, if I’m going to call myself a brander aiming to become an “Iconic Brander.”
